In the heart of Michigan, Greencrest Manor feels like an escape to the French countryside—lush ivy climbing its grand estate walls, golden-hour light filtering through manicured gardens, and a sense of quiet luxury at every turn. This spring, Le Collectif brought together an extraordinary group of wedding artists for an intimate and artful styled shoot that blended European romance with modern sophistication. As a wedding photographer who thrives on capturing emotion, nostalgia, and refined beauty, I had the privilege of documenting this breathtaking shoot.

The Venue: A Château in Michigan
Greencrest Manor is an estate unlike any other in the Midwest, offering European-inspired architecture, lush greenery, and an old-world charm that transports you to a countryside retreat. From its grand facade to the intimate stone pathways, the venue was the perfect setting for a wedding vision rooted in elegance. Every corner provided a backdrop that felt straight out of a fine art film photograph, making it ideal for couples drawn to romantic, high-fashion wedding aesthetics.

Design: A Wild, Organic Dream
The design and floral artistry by Kaleb Norman James was nothing short of mesmerizing. Cascading blooms in a moody yet delicate color palette lined the ceremony pathway, framing the venue’s ivy-clad walls with intentional, garden-inspired abundance. The lush arrangements carried through to the reception tablescape, where sculptural blooms and layered textures created a modern yet timeless ambiance. These florals were a true masterpiece, inspiring brides who dream of statement-making, artful floral installations.

The Fashion: Timeless Elegance with a Modern Edge
Styled by Gabrielle Hurwitz, the wardrobe for this editorial spoke to the sophisticated, fashion-forward bride. The gown from Lein Studio featured a structured bodice and flowing skirt, embodying a balance of classic romance and contemporary edge. Paired with Manolo Blahnik heels and delicate accessories from Jennifer Behr, the bride’s look was nothing short of iconic. The groom, dressed in a bespoke Michael Andrews tuxedo, added to the effortlessly elegant aesthetic. Together, they epitomized refined luxury with an editorial twist.

A Tablescape Meant for European Summer Nights
With rentals from Nuage Designs, Event Theory, and Gigi & LaClede, the tablescape was a study in rich textures, thoughtful contrasts, and intimate storytelling. Dark, modern tones met organic floral accents, and custom linens from Noble Event Rentals added a touch of personalized charm. As the sun set, flickering candlelight and the estate’s towering greenery created an intimate, artful atmosphere that felt straight out of a European garden celebration.

The Details: Handcrafted Beauty at Every Turn
From the custom stationery by Grey and Cake to the exquisite calligraphy by Krisanna Elizabeth, every detail of this editorial was meticulously curated. A stunning multi-tiered cake by Sweet Details GR echoed the romantic, organic aesthetic of the florals, proving that artistry extends to every element of a luxury wedding. Even the styling mats and backdrops from Chasing Stone provided the perfect canvas for capturing each meaningful detail.

This Greencrest Manor editorial wasn’t just a styled shoot—it was a beautiful vision brought to life and shot primarily on film. Proof that when intentional design and thoughtful details come together, magic happens. For the bride who dreams of a wedding that feels like poetry and film wedding photography—where romance meets high fashion, and every moment is drenched in beauty—this is wedding inspiration at its finest.
