Lately I’ve been reflecting on where this all began.
Not with a camera but with the way sunlight moves across a room. The texture of an old photograph. The stories tucked inside my grandmother’s albums.
These portraits of me, captured by the incredible Peony Wedding Photography, feel like a window into that origin story. Shot on film inside the walls of The Columns Hotel in New Orleans, they aren’t just brand photos. They feel like home. Like memory. Like me.
I wore a vintage-inspired Reformation slip dress that felt equal parts romantic and undone and a skirt and top that made me feel effortlessly refined…like myself, but elevated. Both looks gave a quiet nod to the past while still feeling modern and true to the way I see the world. Maddie G brought a soft elegance to my makeup that let the emotion shine through. Every detail was simple but intentional.
If you’re new here, I’m Lexie. A wedding photographer for people who value meaning, emotion, and artistry. I shoot weddings with soul, blending documentary honesty with editorial beauty. Whether you’re getting married in New Orleans, New York, or Italy, I want your photographs to feel like truth, not trends.
These portraits aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence. And if you’re the kind of bride who gets chills flipping through old family photos, who cares about legacy, who wants something that will feel like you, then we’re probably meant to work together.
Thank you for seeing me here.
xx

The Vision Behind the Shoot
I shared this vision board with Peony Wedding Photography before the session—soft lace textures, vintage wallpapers, silk dresses, and that old soul energy I’m always drawn to. We leaned into nostalgia and femininity, and I love how it all came to life.
